OPEN COURTS AND RESERVATIONS
Courts are available for public usage. Reservation are allowed up to 5 days in advance online or 1 day ahead over the phone or in person. 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect for all court and ball machine reservations. Courts are charged in full if cancellation is less than 24 hours. In order to reduce front desk wait times, court fee splitting is not permitted, please even up directly with your party.

WONDERING ABOUT OUR STATUS IN THE WINTER?
We are officially CLOSED for the remainder of December 2024. We will re-open on January 1st, 2025. Although the Hut is temporarily closed, our courts will remain open and available for public play at your own discretion. Starting January 1st, we will institute our new WINTER HOURS, which operate on the policy of 50+ degree days = We are OPEN! Stay tuned for fun "Party Days"!

PRO SHOP & STRINGING SERVICES
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center has a complete pro shop offering a full line of rackets and accessories. The Pro Shop carries Babolat, Wilson, Head, and Yonex racquets and accessories. LPTPC also has a wide selection of string brands and styles to fit your game. At LPTPC, we beat most internet prices and guarantee products. The shop also offers professional 24-hour string service and “as you wait” re-gripping.
Pickleball players: Check out our new gear! We have paddles, bags and balls from Babolat, Wilson, Head, Joola, Selkirk, and ProKennex!
Demo racquets and paddles are available for $5. Demo fees up to $25 reduce the price of any new racquet or paddle purchase - a GREAT way to try before you buy! Ask our knowledgeable staff for assistance in picking out your equipment.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center offers lessons seven days a week scheduled at your convenience. Lessons range from $60-$80, depending on the pro. We are pleased to offer lessons from a variety of pros who give great lessons to all ability levels.
Please note Lesson Cancellation Policy: Lessons canceled within 24 hours of the reservation will be responsible for the full lesson price.
Please note Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center Teaching Policy: Only teaching pros who have entered into an official teaching agreement with Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center will be allowed to teach private or group lessons on site.
Semi-Private lessons are also available (for up to 6 people). This is a good way to split the cost with a friend. The pricing structure for Semi-Private Lessons is as follows:

Tennis Semi-Private with a Staff Pro: Add a flat $20 to the hourly rate of the pro (rates vary)
Tennis Semi-Private with an Independent Contractor: Add $5 per each additional person to the hourly rate of the pro (rates vary)
Pickleball Semi-Privates: Add a flat $20 to the hourly rate of the pro (rates vary)
BALL MACHINE
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center has a ball machine for tennis & pickleball play, which is an affordable way for adults and juniors alike to practice. It is available seven days per week with 5 day in advanced court reservations online and 1 day advanced reservations by phone.

ADULT GROUP PROGRAMS
Advertised group classes are a great way to improve your game. The classes are offered to adults of all levels and offer a 6 to 1 ratio.

Inclement Weather: If LPTPC cancels a class due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstance, then you will receive a FULL CREDIT on your LPTPC Account.

Missed Class: If you missed a particular class (assuming the class was held) due to personal circumstances (such as: travel, sickness, scheduling, injury, work, or any other reason), then you can request an “Oops, I Missed a Class Coupon Sheet” . While the Coupon Sheet does not (unfortunately) entitle you to a Make-Up Class, it does have a set of great coupons for other LPTPC amenities for free (ball machine, court time, etc.), in lieu of your missed class. (In fact, the coupons have a larger retail dollar value than the class itself!) Please ask any Front Desk Associate after your missed class has occurred to receive your physical coupon sheet.
Private groups may be arranged if the advertised classes do not accommodate your needs. Private groups vary in price. For "Staff Pros": Add $20 to any private lesson for a semi-private lesson. For "Independent Contractor Pros": Add $5/additional person to the hourly rate of the pro.

Re: Tennis or Pickleball class/programming cancellations (i.e. non-reservations): LPTPC does not call or email regarding class/program cancellations. Please refer to the weather policy (must be at least 40 degrees and dry) or call LPTPC front desk (303.233.3187) for confirmation of cancelled classes/programs. If you are removed from the roster and credit appears on your account, the class has been canceled. We officially reference weather.com (or the widget at the top of our website) to determine temperature. Cancelled programs will receive account credit automatically, classes that are missed but still run you can pick up coupons at the front desk.
JUNIOR PROGRAMS
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center offers private lessons to juniors year-around and junior group lessons are also offered. In addition, our comprehensive junior programming offers in-house leagues, tournaments and “Tennis Everyday” - a summer program that offers each player up to 15 hours per week of tennis with total flexibility for family planning.
USTA ADULT LEAGUES
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center offers adult leagues for many ages and levels of player. Please email: info@lakewoodparktennis.com for details.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Lakewood Park Tennis & Pickleball Center plays host to the several local tournaments and many smaller events for individuals and companies. The center has openings for company mixers, birthday parties, and other events. Check our Event Calendar for the newest and coolest happenings at LPTPC.
"LATE NIGHT" DOUBLES
LPTPC now offers “Top Dog” Doubles for Tennis & Pickleball, Monday through Thursday at 8pm, with levels for almost everybody. No partner needed to sign-up. Rotate partners, keep score and join our “friendly competitive” co-ed league!
GENERAL RULES & PROCEDURES
GENERAL OPERATIONS
A. Hours - open seven days per week (hours change seasonally - please note special 50 degree rule for January & February 2025).
B. Payment for services will be accepted via cash, check or credit card. (Visa/MC/Discover)
C. Pets and bicycles must be left outside the premises at all times.
D. LPTPC can assume no responsibility for lost or stolen articles.
COURT RESERVATIONS SYSTEM & RATES
A. All players must check in at the front desk, even those who use the backboard. Payment for courts, lessons and the ball machine will always precede usage of the courts.
B. Courts may be reserved online or via Court Reserve up to 5 days in advance or over the phone/in person 1 day in advance.
C. A player may reserve a court for 2 hours for any given day under his/her name. Players may not reserve additional courts for other people including husband, wife or children if they have already reserved 2 hours under their own name. One reservation per person, per day.
D. Players must conclude play after prescribed time, regardless of the status of the match, if other players are waiting. Players wishing to play after their designated times may return to the reservation desk to reserve additional time.
E. Players who play longer than their designated times are on the honor system to return to the reservation desk to pay for the additional time after play has concluded.
F. Reserved courts that are not claimed 15 minutes after the designated starting time will be assigned to others waiting to play.
G. Cancellation Policies:

Reservations cancelled or not used within the cancellation period will be subject to full costs. Check your schedule before making a reservation, so as to avoid court costs with late cancellations. Repeat offenders may be asked to pay in advance to hold a reservation.
SPECIAL REGULATIONS
A. Both Guests and Staff at LPTPC are required to act appropriately at all times. Please consult the Code of Conduct linked below for further details.

B. All guests at LPTPC play at their own risk. We will not be held responsible for injury.
C. Sorry, jogging shoes will not be permitted on the courts. They lack lateral support and therefore are not safe. Furthermore, jogging shoes mark up the courts with black marks and hence will not be permitted on the courts.
D. The courts use is intended for tennis & pickleball play only.
E. Please refrain from taking children onto the courts while playing.
